Well, *I* Didn’t Feel Anything

Dennis appears to be feeling much better today, after spending the last two days being spooky and trying to avoid being on the floor.  Aaaaand …… From the California Integrated Seismic Net:

  1. We never doubted….. Being raised out in the wild, Dennis is obviously much more in touch with mother nature and tuned into the greater cosmic (and seismic) signals.

I’d get REALLY worried next time if both dogs get spooked.

  2. Good for Dennis! Cai often wakes up and whines to go play ball just before a rainstorm — is that similar? Haven’t tried him out on earthquakes…

  3. Patch could always sense the thunder before it started up and he could always sense the sonic booms right before they happen. I am sooooo tired of the sonic booms here-it seems to get louder each time (which is about one every other day)-and shakes the whole house. Sounds like we are being bombed-and talk about trying to hold your mouth (bite my tongue) at school…in front of the kiddies!

  4. just as long as no one got hurt!

Jim says: Being a New Yorker, a 4.0 earthquake sounds big to me, but I guess it’s pretty puny by California standards. I haven’t heard any reports of damage.

  5. Well, I didn’t feel that one either. There are hundreds of earthquakes in California every day, and I never feel any of them.

I can’t count of any of my dogs to let me know anything. They constantly yap. It’s like “The boy who cried wolf” around here.
