  1. Great to see this on your post. Today our War memorial was literally covered in wreaths in honor of the American Memorial Day. The American and Australian flags were at half mast, the sombre Last Post was played and the old diggers stood to attention.

  2. Well said Miss Trixie! Very unique tribute to memorial day – reminds us that we should never forget what has been given for us, no matter where we are! Schnauzer snuggles – JD and Max.

  3. Happy Memorial Day! Good to remember our soldiers. My human cousin is one. He goes to scary places all the time and worries his mom a lot but we are all proud of him.

  4. P.S. Please make sure your mouse friend knows that we had nothing to do with that unfortunate swimming incident. I would hate for him to put a hit out on PeeWee.

  6. YES! Let freedom ring from our mountain-tops to our valleys and from coast to coast. Let us NEVER forget the sacrifice of those who came before us, and those who serve now, so we may enjoy the freedoms of our beautiful country!

  7. Hey Dennis
It’s your favorite reeder norwood. It’s a good thing Trixie was there! I know it’s hard to be quiet for a minute but today it was important to be silent and remember…

  8. Why Dennis. Somehow this really touched Mom. From the paw on your shoulder(brothers in arms) to wise Trixie letting y’all know to hush and reflect. Mom says thanks for being part of a grateful nation in the most unique way. (Geez Mom, is Dennis gonna make you tear up and get that lump too???)
Mom, lets have a group hug for you.
    Thanks Dennis and Trixie!
    Hugs

  9. Wonderful Memorial Day post, Dennis! Thank you for it.

By the way, the Lumberjack song you were singing on my blog, is that the British Cross-dresser Lumberjack you were referring to?
