Abby would say that it’s affectionate. I’d say it’s annoying after about 3 seconds. So I guess it depends on whether you are the licker or the lickee. 🙂

Knowing Tucker, Dennis may have a few food crumbs around his mouth and T.couldn’t resist them. In which case, it would probably be an annoying act, Or it could just be affection, not sure at all.
Oh my gosh! Morgan does this, too, to the point that it annoys ME, not to mention Bunny and Blueberry. It’s like OCD to the nth degree! The killer is that I know she means well, but she never stops. Is Tucker losing his voice?
Actually yes, he is — his bark has been getting hoarser and quieter for a few years. We think it’s related to his neuromuscular issues, which no one has ever been able to diagnose.

I think it’s pure affection! Tucker loves Dennis and Dennis certainly does not seem to mind the affection at all! Very, very cute!
