The Flutterby Effect

Spicoli: “I heard you little Hipster dudes wanted to talk to me?”
Chaplin: “Yes, we were wondering if you could  help us get to Oregon.”

Spicoli: “You don’t have to go to Oregon anymore, dudes. You can get your stuff legally here in California now.”
Charlee: “What stuff?”
Spicoli: “Uhh … Catnip, of course.”
Mouse: “Catnip. Riiiiiight.”
Spicoli: “You hush.”

Chaplin: “We’re not looking for catnip. We heard that the butterflies were going to Oregon and we want to chase them.”
Mouse: “So let me get this straight. You guys weren’t willing to leave the house to help the Doctor protect time and space, but you are willing to leave it to hunt pretty little harmless insects.”
Spicoli: “Dude. They’re cats. Why does this surprise you?”
Charlee: “That thing with the Doctor sounded scary and dangerous. This sounds like fun.”

Mouse: “Sorry, but you Hipsters are house cats. House cats. You would have no idea what to do in Oregon once you got there. Just stay here and relax and watch the birds from the window like good kitties.”
Chaplin: “Well, maybe you’re right. This fleece is very comfortable.”
Charlee: “And I do like to curl up inside my little spider house.”
Spicoli: “You little Hipster dudes have chosen wisely.”

Charlee: “We’re still going to Oregon, right?”
Chaplin: “Of course we are.”
Producer Smurf: “I’ll help! I’m a magical woodland creature, and nobody smurfs more about chasing butterflies than me!”

  1. Us house kitties have our own fun and as much catnip, as Mama grows – it’s legal in Florida, you know. We watch all those butterflies, birds, and huge colorful parrots sitting comfortably and looking out our own windows. We are not traveling kitties, but more power to you, guys!

  2. Oh dear, we think you two kitties have learned the need for adventure from Dennis. Be careful out there, especially with that Smurf guy helping you.

  4. Lots of your friends are here in Oregon including me. But I have never heard of Butterfly Catching here in Oregon. I don’t think they would be very tasty although they are colorful! They are more like beautiful moths and taste rather dusty.
Although we would be happy to say hi while you are here!
