Caturday Matinee: Training Day

Dada’s note: Charlee, Chaplin, and Lulu are continue to have managed interactions with each other while we work to convince Chaplin that Lulu is an acceptable addition to the house. (Charlee and Lulu are already cool, because they’re both chill ladies.) This involves having everyone together in the same room for increasingly long times while they get cookies and practice being calm. Guess which animal is best at that …

If you guessed Charlee, then you chose … wisely.

  1. Treats work wonders!!! Except we think Chaplin was trying to snitch one of Lulu’s at the end there:)

  4. You can but try. The staring contest part way through may me chuckle. I’m still in awe how well they get on; my cat would go ballistic with a dog in the house (though he acts more like a dog himself with the way he follows people around and waits by the door for someone to return from going out). I think this trio make the purrrrfect furry family.xx

  6. I hope you don’t mind. I linked your training video so Pinkie could laugh. People know my Pinkie and my Midnight don’t get along. I give them treats but never thought to make it something special for specific behavior. I’ll try working on that so I can work on bringing them together later.
