Lu The Guajome Regional Park!

Hello friendlies! Lulu here! This week we had something called “Independence Day”, which is a day when Mama and Dada don’t work and the television gets played really loud in the evening while treats rain from the sky for no apparent reason. But before the television and the treats, there was a little road trip to a park that the other dogs who used to live here used to go to!

Before I was at the shelter, I lived on a ranch. But it wasn’t this ranch. It was a different ranch. There were horses and stuff. I don’t see any horses here, but I do see grass. Lots and lots and lots of grass.

What a big yard this is!

There seemed to be a lot of activity here. There were a lot of people cooking things and kicking balls around. And there was plenty of peemail.

My port scans have detected a publicly available peemail server.

There were lots of peemail servers to choose from but this one was my favorite!

Yeah that was some very informative peemail! Of course I had to leave peemail of my own, which Dada very discreetly mostly didn’t film. And after creating the peemail I had to make sure it was signed and authenticated as “From Lulu”. I understand that humans get arrested for are generally discourage from leaving peemail, but you can still sign and authenticate messages. Here’s a tutorial for you in how that’s done:

Just make sure you take off your shoes prior to scuffing so you can leave proper foot scents and marks behind. Otherwise you’re just leaving treads. You know, like a tire or something.

Proper dog foot print vs. improper human shoe print.

In addition to all the peemail servers, the park had a very complex routing table. I spent a lot of time looking around trying to figure out what would be the best way to go.

The Roads Less Traveled

There was also the occasional pop-up. As in, I heard something and popped my nose up from the ground to see what it was. Unfortunately as is often the case with pop-ups, it was hard to figure out exactly where they were coming from.

While we were walking, I kept hearing Mama and Dada mention bunnies, but I never saw anything. I’m not sure what they were talking about, but there were definitely no bunnies anywhere along the trail. There was something interesting at the end, but I didn’t get to explore it. Disappointment all around.

At least I got to stop at one more really big peemail server before it was time to go.

Many many petabytes of peemail here. Get it? Petabytes?

I guess I can’t really call it a disappointing trip. I mean, there were lots of things to see and smell and roll in, even though I didn’t actually get to roll in any of it. I was really hoping to see a bunny, but I guess they haven’t got bunnies at this park. Maybe the next one will have some.

So on Memorial Day I got to go to the harbor for the first time ever, and on Independence Day, I got to go to Guajome Regional Park for the first time ever. I like these days that end in “Day”. I hope we’ll have more of them soon.

This is Lulu, rolling over and out!

  1. That looks like a great place to take a walk. It’s too bad you didn’t find any bunnies. Walter loves to kick like you do after he does his business.
