Throwback (Dennis, Tucker, & Trixie) Thursday: The Last Picture Show

So here we’ve reached the end of my long series of Throwback Thursdays, mostly generated during my big photo re-tagging project when I switched photo album programs, with later additions when I started collecting photos after Dennis was diagnosed with osteosarcoma and we realized that he would probably be leaving us sooner than we had anticipated. Rather than reposting Dennis’s final photos, though, I decided to go back in and present a collage of Dennis in his prime, with special appearances by Tucker and Trixie in their younger days as well, so we can remember them as they were.

Run free, you guys, until we meet you again over the Rainbow Bridge. Love, Mama & Dada.

  1. We had two Vizslas, both now sadly passed. Wonderful companions with almost human expressions. Ours thought they were lapdogs – painful but very loving.

  2. It is such a wonderful thing that we can preserve memories this way…to look at and treasure as often as we want to…its good to think back and remember ‘The Good Days’.

Thanks for sharing them with all of us, once more.

  6. What a beautiful collection of memories. I bet Tucker’s having a riot over the other side of Rainbow Bridge  ♥ I’m quite sad to think it’s the end of the series. Will you be doing a different regular series..?

    • Lulu: “Dada says there probably won’t be another Throwback Thursday series until he finally gets around to scanning all the prints he’s got sitting around in albums and boxes.”
      Chaplin: “What are prints?”
Charlee: “What we leave behind in the litter pan, I think.”
Lulu: “But there’s still plenty of Wordless Wednesdays in the pipeline! He says those are scheduled out all the way to September and he keeps adding more, so I guess that’s kind of a Throwback Thursday Wordless Wednesday, maybe!”
