Hip Hip Hipster Hooray For Gotcha Day!

Everybody put your paws together for the third Gotcha Day of our two intrepid little explorers!

For those who may not have been around for it, the Hipsters spent their first few weeks here living in what’s now known as The Cat Room, getting acquainted with Dennis via daily visits where we would open the door and let Dennis look at them while getting cookies, then close the door when the Hipsters started to express interest in approaching him. This wasn’t because the Hipsters were afraid of the big dog; it was because the big dog was afraid of the Hipsters (as he was of many, many other things). Once they were finally allowed to be loose in the same room, everyone was cool with it.

And of course, eventually, everyone became great friends.

“Are you SURE they’re not going to eat me?”
IMG_2427_20170528114551.JPG “Well I guess they’re not all bad.”

So here’s a Happy Gotcha Day to the sweetest kitty ever — and also to her brother! 🤪

“Are you crazy? Is that your problem?”

  1. It’s great seeing our old buddy Dennis again. Kitties can be scary, so I feel the fear he felt. Once I was afraid of the hallway in my building. Happy Gotcha Day, kitties! You’re right where you belong.

    Love and licks,

  2. Happy Gotcha Day!!! We hope you both have such a wonderful day of celebrating. The videos of Dennis from the past were so beautiful to see him around the kittens at that time. He was too funny. Thanks for sharing the lovely photos. Have a great day.

  4. I wondered how the meet & greet went when cat and dog collide. I’ve wanted a golden retriever for years now but I don’t think it’ll ever happen and I don’t think my cat would take too kindly to a dog in the house – I’d be more scared for the dog with the cat’s claws!

Leave us a woof or a purr!
