Hello friendlies! Lulu here with another life tip! This time I would like to remind you that although humans can say lots of words, they’re not very good at communication, and sometimes they ask a lot of silly questions. You just have to be patient with them and keep asking for what you want. Here’s an example:
As you can see, it took a while for Dada to figure out what I wanted, but he finally did. I just had to be persistent. Waving my paw in the air probably helped, too. That’s a magical incantation that we dogs can use for just about anything. Try it the next time you’re not getting what you want and see what happens. Worst case, your human might think you want to shake hands and then will give you a cookie for doing it.
I don’t know why Dada kept asking me if Chaplin was my brother. Maybe he hadn’t had enough coffee yet that day.
Chaplin: “We cats don’t have to mess around with paw gestures. We just stare at the humans and meow incessantly, and if that doesn’t work, latching onto them with claws usually does.”
Charlee: “The way you were dancing around, I probably would have thought you had to go to the bathroom.”
Lulu: “Also a good guess!”
Lulu, you are so right of humans. My mom keeps asking me”Who’s cat you are?” Sounds like she doesn’t recognize me even though I have lived here about 7 human years.

Our Mom asks us what we want, and that’s a magical clue for us to ask for anything…run to the door, roll over for belly rubs, run to the kitchen, whatever we want! Glad your Dada figured it out.

Beaglie and I figured out a long time ago….people are (well) not real bright when it comes to talking “animal”. They make up for it in otherways. Which is nice. Mindy

We love how patient you are. Lulu, do you bark and dance when your human is playing with the cats? Cinnamon does…She thinks ALL playing should be with her and no one else! Have a marvellously Happy Day!

We have to agree with you, Lulu. Our peeps don’t seem to know the difference between our asking to go out, for a treat, for some play time, for dinner, or for a nice belly rub. Maybe we need to get them dog dictionaries.

Well done, Lulu. Waving the paw did the trick. It’s not as easy as it is for cats because latching on to hooman skin with their claws ALWAYS gets the hooman’s attention. Always. Ouchie!
