Lulu’s Lyrics: Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of Eating Things)

Hello friendlies! Lulu here with some new lyrics for you! This is my version of the famous Eurythmics song “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)”, which is a good song, but never actually tells you what sweet dreams are made of. An alternate version of the song, “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of Cheese)“, gets a lot more specific, and sounds a lot tastier than, you know, people who want to use and abuse you and whatnot. A little dark there, Eurythmics!

Charlee: “We agree that a song about cheese is better than a song about creepy human behavior.”
Chaplin: “Speaking of cheese, can we have a little nibble?”
Lulu: “Not yet. First I need to share my new lyrics.”

Sweet dreams are made of this:
Eating things while you’re asleep.
You curl up your lips
And show off your teeth
‘Cuz in your dream you’re nomming on treats

Some are made of dried fish skins
Some are blocks of various kinds of cheese
Some are made of baked canned tuna
Some are big pieces of cardboard

This time I even made a video to go with my lyrics. Check it out!

Charlee: “That whole thing was a little … what’s the word I’m looking for? Disturbing.”
Chaplin: “I don’t think pieces of carboard really count as treats.”
Lulu: “Sure they do. They’re like doggy chewing gum.”
Mouse: “Are we going to eat this cheese or just sit around talking about it?”

  1. That would definitely be a sweet dream. We approve of your new lyrics, Lulu. Better copyright them before the Eurythmics steal them. (Can we have some of that cheese, please?) XOX Xena and Lucy
