Lulu’s Life Tips: Roadblocks

Hello friendlies! Lulu here! Hey, you may have heard of a thing that the humans call a roadblock. This is when you’re trying to make progress towards some destination, but something is standing in your way, preventing you from getting there. This could be a metaphorical or literal obstacle, and it could be something you impose on yourself or something that’s imposed on you by external forces. Here’s an example of a literal roadblock:

As you can see, in this case, the roadblock is being imposed on me by external forces, namely a sunpuddle, an oblivious brother, a disinterested bystander, and a dada who would rather capitalize on the situation than offer assistance. But if you are creative, persistent, and open to alternatives, you can often get past such obstacles, either by overcoming them or finding a different way to achieve your desired ends. This is Lulu, rolling over and out!

Chaplin: “I feel personally attacked by this particular life tip.”
Charlee: “As well you should!”
Lulu: “If you feel attacked, just imagine how the carpet in Dada’s office felt.”

  1. A serious roadblock indeed! I’ve tried to step carefully past similar roadblocks and ended up with strong paws wrapped around an ankle, with claws deployed.

  2. What is wrong with that cat, rolling around like that? A sunpuddle is for lying in sweet and quiet repose:) Lulu, you need to practice hurdling!!!
