Lulu’s Life Tips: It’s Okay To Take A Little Break

Hello friendlies! Lulu here, with another life tip! Now, you may remember that a few weeks ago I posted about how you’re probably not as good as multitasking as you think you are. This week, keeping up with the theme of making the best use of your time, I’m here to remind you that it’s okay to take a little break now and then. You might be occupied with a difficult long-term project, say, hunting down all the gophers in your yard, and it’s good to have and work towards a goal; but, still, it’s important to now and then step back and relax a little, and maybe do some roaching and get a belly rub and let your tongue hang out a little. Here, I’ll demonstrate:

Charlee: “My long-term goal is to stay on break permanently. Oh look, I already achieved it.”
Chaplin: “I think that’s the most undignified behavior I’ve ever seen.”
Lulu: “More undignified than eating cobwebs?”

You may be surrounded by colleagues and associates who denigrate your goals and/or tell you you need to work harder, but remember, friendlies: Time spent roaching in the grass and then getting a belly rub is never time wasted. This is Lulu, rolling over and out!

  1. Didja catch da gopher?
I, Benji dug a trench in the front yard yesterday…about a foot deep…but no prey, so I left it…and petcretary filled it up again…and grumbled, sheesh, she should be haopy I am working for my keep! Then she spread red pepper flakes allover it, so now our green grass has a nice red patch in it…perfect for Christmas!! BOL!
