It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas Mealworms

Vermin: “HISSS! So what will make the Christmas mealworms unique and let us charge a premium is that they’ll have a little Santa hat, beard, and boots.”
Spicoli: “Uhh, yeah, dude, that’s not horrifying at all.”

Producer Smurf: “Just who do you smurf is going to smurf these mealworms?”
Vermin: “HISSS! There’s a huge market! The ninja hedgehogs will eat them, I’ll eat them, Blue over there will probably eat them …”
Blue: “Yes, if that’s actual size then count me in!”

Mouse: “It’s not actual size. Mealworms are tiny, not like in the Cretaceous period.”
Blue: “Maybe we could go to the Cretaceous again and bring back a breeding population of properly-sized mealworms?”
Everyone: “NO!!!”

Blue: “Well fine, I guess I could eat them out of a bucket with a spoon. I can do that because I have thumbs.”
Mouse: “How are you producing these mealworms, anyway? Did you hire an elf to sew a bunch of tiny little hats and boots for you?”
Vermin: “HISSS! Don’t be ridiculous! I’m using a top-secret high-tech combination of genetic engineering and selective breeding!”

Later …

Vermin: “HISSS! If anyone asks, I’m not running an elf sweatshop. You in red are my director of genetic engineering, and you in green are my director of selective mealworm breeding.”
Green Elf on the Shelf: “Sure thing, boss!”

  1. Hey, if there’s a market for photos of people’s feet then there’s a market for these here mealworms. I reckons you should get yourselves a 3D printer though, might be quicker and you could makes them huge!
