Lulu’s Life Tips: How To Get What You Want

Hello friendlies! Lulu here, with another life tip! This time, I’m here to talk about how to get what you want. Now, you may have heard from The Rolling Stones that you can’t always do that:

The Rolling Stones might think this because they’re not dogs. If they were, and could give people the puppy eyes, they would have sung a different tune.

Producer Smurf: “I’m pretty sure the members of The Rolling Stones have enough money to smurf whatever they want.”
Lulu: “Don’t be such a mercenary.”

Now just because puppy dog eyes will get you what you want, that doesn’t mean you won’t have to work for it a little bit, especially if your human is a little bit thick. Here’s an instructional video where I will show you how to get your human to go where you want them to go, even if they’re completely clueless about what you’re asking for.

As you can see, Dada was pretty insistent that I must want to go out, even when I quite obviously wanted him to come in the living room and pet me there. Because sometimes you just need to get petted in the living room, and no other room will do, am I right?

Chaplin: “You really can’t blame Dada for thinking you wanted to go out. Going out seems to be all you dogs every think about.”
Charlee: “Except when you are out, of course. Then you just want to come back inside.”
Lulu: “Oh, are we trafficking in stereotypes now? Have you two gotten stuck in any trees lately?”

So remember, friendlies: If you know what you want, don’t let somebody convince you you want something else. Oh, and also, it’s very important to offer them a nice firm handshake when they get it right. Humans love shaking hands. This is Lulu, rolling over and out!

  1. Our mum is thick-headed too. It’s remarkable she can be on her own. Guess those thumbs are pretty important. You keep up with the puppy dog eyes and most of all be patient that your dad will eventually put 2 & 2 together to pet you in the living room. 😉
