Hello friendlies! Lulu here with another installment of my Lawn Patrol and Life Tips series! That’s right, this week my video falls into both categories. I’m killing two birds with one stone!

Charlee: “Are you chasing birds without us?”
Lulu: “It’s just a figure of speech.”
Now of course, being a dog, I like to go out into the backyard. And also, being a dog, I like to have my humans with me. So if you do the math, it may be obvious that I like to have my humans in the backyard with me. Sometimes they come out of their own accord, and sometimes you have to encourage them, because the house is their natural habitat and they can be a little shy about leaving it.
Once your human is out in the backyard with you, they may be a little bit confused about what they should be doing. Just go about your own business and leave them to figure out theirs. They’ll manage, eventually.

Lulu: “Also a figure of speech.”
Charlee: “Can we go back and talk about the part with the birds again?”
Now, you might not always be able to get your human to come out of the house with you, so you’ll have to be prepared to go it alone out there. But that’s all right. There’s plenty of things to sniff and dig up and you can lounge in the sunshine while your human is stuck inside. So just remember, friendlies: You can lead a human to the door, but you can’t make them go through it. This is Lulu, rolling over and out!
That’s great advice, Lulu. Most of the time when we are outside in our yard one of our parents will be with us. Mainly because they want to stop us from eating all the tasty snacks the bunnies leave for us.

We try to ‘encourage’ our mama to get daily doses of Vitamin D. It’s good for her and we get to sniff some ‘pawsome’ things. Although sometimes, she takes it a bit too seriously and wants to stay outside too long when we’d like to nap. Paw-rents…you just never know what they’re going to do. Happy patrolling, Lulu.
