Lulu’s Beach Briefing: Don’t Face Into The Wind

Hello friendlies! Lulu here with a quick tip about going to the beach! When there’s a really strong wind coming off the ocean, you may want to face the other way, take shelter behind a vehicle, or both. Allow me to demonstrate!

You’ll note of course that Mama and Dada are both facing into the wind and the blowing sand. Humans are silly that way. Of course, they are both wearing glasses, which may help a little … Until the wind blows their glasses off.

Chaplin: “What happened to ‘2 Windy 2 Go Outside‘?”
Lulu: “Well you know, when the humans put that leash on you, you just go with them.”

So remember, friendlies! If it’s windy at your house, it’s probably also windy at the beach a few miles from your house. Put on goggles if you have them. This is Lulu, rolling over and out!

  1. When Mom and Dad went to the beach in South Carolina last fall, that’s what happened to them and everything was getting covered by sand and they were worried WHERE ELSE the sand was getting lodged, so they left. We’re glad we weren’t there, for once! XOX Xena Lucy and Chia

  3. When it’s windy, we hate going out in it. Wind seem to make peeps cranky (and like this weekend, whip up another bad wildfire in the grasslands. 20,000 peeps evacuated). That fire is only about 35% contained but hopefully they’ll make more progress tomorrow when it’s supposed to rain. 🤞🏼
