Mr. Nibbles: “You look perturbed, friend Lulu.”
Lulu: “Java Bean set up a coffee shop in the backyard and I didn’t even notice. I feel like I’ve failed in my duty as a watchdog.”
Java Bean: “So what can I get for you cats?”
Chaplin: “Two catpuccinos with extra foam, a bird muffin and a lizard muffin, and a bowl full of moths.”
Java Bean: “Uh-huh. So the only one of those things I have anything close to is the catpuccino.”
Chaplin: “I bet Starbucks has them.”
Java Bean: “I bet they don’t.”
Mr. Nibbles: “Well maybe being a watchdog isn’t your job. Maybe your job is to be cute and get belly rubs.”
Lulu: “You think so? I do like that. job, and I’m good at it. But maybe I could be good at being a watchdog, too. I just have to practice.”
Norman #1: “Look, Norman, it’s a coffee shop!”
Norman #2: “Should we raid it?”
Norman #3: “We should definitely raid it. They’ll never see it coming.”
Norman #4: “Yeah, they haven’t had a watchdog here since Dennis left. We’ll catch them totally off-guard!”
Java Bean: “Excuse me a minute, I have to go take care of something.”
Chaplin: “I bet the baristas at Starbucks never say ‘Excuse me a minute, I have to go take care of something.'”
Java Bean: (barking at ninja hedgehogs)
Normans: “AAAAAAIIIIIIIEEEEE!!!”
Chaplin: “This coffee shop is too noisy. I’m going to Starbucks.”
Mr. Nibbles: “So in other words you’ll pay closer attention to your surroundings, looking for things that are out of place and alert-barking when you see them?”
Lulu: “Yes, exactly. What do you think? I could do that, couldn’t I?”
Mr. Nibbles: “I’m sure you’ll give it your best shot.”
Lulu: “Thanks, Mr. Nibbles!”
Java Bean: “Sorry about that. Here are your two catpuccinos with extra foam.”
Charlee: “I didn’t order these.”

JavaBean would love The Khottage location – we are a mile or so from a StarBarks Roasting Plant so it is ofter eau du khoffee out there!
Of course, ‘we’ are not a fan of THAT product but it sure smells GREAT!
