Hello friendlies! Lulu here, with another lawn patrol post! As promised, or at least implied, this one features Java Bean in his first full day here in the backyard. He had actually arrived the previous afternoon, but of course he needed time to get settled into a new place after weeks in the shelter. He was feeling a lot more comfortable the next day, and really wanted to get into a game of chase. Unfortunately, as you will see, it was right in the middle of nap time.
Chaplin: “We cats couldn’t have done it better ourselves. And that’s not something we say very often.”
Lulu: “Your approval fills me with shame.”
Bean: “As it should! You don’t look ashamed, though.”
Lulu: “Well I really did want to sunbathe.”
Sorry there’s not a lot of action there. But Bean and I hardly knew each other at that point, and it was really warm and sunny. We made up for it later, believe me. But that is a video for another day. Until then, friendlies, this is Lulu, rolling over and out!
