Saya (AKA 冴矢 “Swift Arrow“) Olivia is a female vizsla from Golden Empire, born May 18th, 2015.
With a sharp mind and a sharper nose, and exceedingly confident, she has all the makings of another Tucker. In fact she’s already trying to steal coffee, but she is not getting any. The last thing she needs is caffeine.
Much like her namesake,
when Saya is not sleeping
she is keeping the world safe from things like vampires and ninja hedgehogs.
Saya arrived in Dennisland on June 15th, 2015, and no vampires were spotted in the vicinity after that.
Unfortunately, Saya proved to be too much for Dennis to handle, for various reasons. He was diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia and arthritis in December of 2015, and began a course of PST treatment in early June of 2016. The treatment took place over the course of two weeks and required a six-week period of “no jumping, no tackling, no football moves” afterwards, so Saya went back to her breeder’s house for summer camp while Dennis recovered. She was clearly much happier there, living with dogs who were willing to play with her:
And Dennis was clearly feeling more secure without having to worry about getting bowled over. Ultimately, we decided that Saya would do best living with her breeder, while Dennis, given his medical and psychological frailties, would do best spending his golden years as the only dog and the center of attention.

So the age old question of “Where in the world is Saya” is answered for me. I am such an nudnick! Now I know where Saya is. I think it was a safe & good choice for Dennis at the time…..she is a wonderful girl but so High energy!!I am glad she is happy back with her Breeder….altho I miss darling Dennis so much….
