So here we’ve reached the end of my long series of Throwback Thursdays, mostly generated during my big photo re-tagging project when I switched photo album programs, with later additions when I started collecting photos after Dennis was diagnosed with osteosarcoma and we realized that he would probably be leaving us sooner than we had anticipated. Rather than reposting Dennis’s final photos, though, I decided to go back in and present a collage of Dennis in his prime, with special appearances by Tucker and Trixie in their younger days as well, so we can remember them as they were.
Run free, you guys, until we meet you again over the Rainbow Bridge. Love, Mama & Dada.
Mr. Nibbles: “Enjoying the nice cool tile, Miss Lulu?”
Lulu: “Yep! Plus I’m hoping someone might come by and give me a belly rub.”
Spicoli: “Dude, I really don’t think this is where you go for poetic license.”
Dennis: “But I asked Chaplin if poetic license was like a dog license and he said he supposed it might be.”
Spicoli: “Okay, but have you considered the possibility that he was just humoring you?”
Dennis: “Now you’re just being silly! They’re hipster poets, not standup comedians.”
