Caturday Matinee: Kitty Christmas Staycation

Charlee: “Hello, everybody! Charlee and Chaplin here!”
Chaplin: “Some of you may have noticed we weren’t around much the last week or so. That’s because Mama and Dada went to visit relatives for Christmas and failed to take us with them.”
Charlee: “Which is okay, because we don’t like to travel.”
Chaplin: “How do you know? Have you tried it?”
Charlee: “No, I haven’t tried it, but I know I don’t like it.”
Chaplin: “Anyway, we thought we might have free rein over the house while they were gone, but they arranged with a human friend to come in and feed us and play with us twice a day, so we didn’t get to throw any big parties.”
Charlee: “Which is okay, because we don’t like big parties. And no, Chaplin, I haven’t been to any big parties, but I know I don’t like them.”
Chaplin: “Okay, sure.”
Charlee: “To look in on us and give us treats while they were gone, Mama and Dada set up a Petzi in the bedroom and a motion-detecting camera in the hallway.”
Chaplin: “So they were spying on us.”
Charlee: “They sure were. When the motion-detecting camera noticed us going by or making noise, it sent them alerts on their magic communication devices, and recorded thirty seconds of video.”
Chaplin: “Since we’re in the videos, we decided to claim ownership and put a few of the best ones together into a clip of what we did for our Christmas vacation from the humans.”
Charlee: “Roll that clip show, Chaplin!”
