Hello friendlies! Lulu here with another Lawn Patrol report! Now it occurred to me that some of you might not be familiar with how the Lawn Patrol works, so I thought I would put together a little video to show you. The way we do it around here is, first we check the perimeter for intruders.Continue reading “Lulu’s Lawn Patrol: First We Check For Intruders”
Hello friendlies! Lulu here, with another life tip! This is a simple one: Sometimes you just can’t decide what you want to do, and that’s okay. This especially happens when you have too many choices, like when Mama falls asleep ten minutes into something they’re watching together and so Dada has to stop it but then he has to figure out which zombie movie or superhero movie or science fiction movie or horror movie or action movie or maybe an episode of “Battlebots” to watch but he has to make sure it’s not one Mama might actually want to see and so he ends up watching nothing. Or something along those lines. For me, it’s more like when there are so many interesting things to smell or dig up out in the yard that I can’t settle on just one. Check it out!Continue reading “Lulu’s Life Tips: Sometimes You Just Can’t Decide What You Want To Do (And That’s Okay)”
Hello friendlies! Lulu here with the fifth and final installment of playtime tips featuring my assistant Penny! This is where we put it all together: Seizing the high ground, barking, bowing, sneak attacks, and, of course, the judicious application of taking breaks. So without further ado, let’s go over everything we’ve learned!Continue reading “Lulu’s Playtime Tips, Part 5: Putting It All Together”
Hello friendlies! Lulu here! So not long ago, we hosted a small visitor for the day while her family visited a nearby theme park. She’s younger than me, smaller than me, and, as it turns out, faster than me. Take a look at our session playing chase in the back yard and you’ll see what I mean.Continue reading “Lulu’s Life Tips: Small Does Not Mean Slow”
Hello friendlies! Lulu here with another life tip! This is a simple one, and something you may already be aware of: Dadas are silly.Continue reading “Lulu’s Life Tips: Dadas Are Silly”
Hello friendlies! Lulu here, with another life tip! This time it’s about fun. Now, some people might try to tell you that what you think is fun is not fun, and that what you think is not fun is fun. But remember, fun is whatever you think it is. Take fetch. This is where somebody throws something and you go get it and bring it back to them. That might be fun for some, but maybe you don’t want to go through the whole “fetch” process. Maybe you just like to run and grab what’s thrown and then nibble on it. Maybe you just want to do it a few times and then run off and stick your snout in the ivy. My point is, you may feel pressure to accept somebody else’s idea of “fun” just to go along with them, but take it from me, you don’t have to. Fetching is optional. Check it out:Continue reading “Lulu’s Life Tips: Fetching is Optional”
Hello friendlies! Lulu here with another life tip! This time it’s about knowing when it’s time to take a break. Sure, it’s fun to run run run and play play play, but at some point, you have to stop and take a breath. Especially if you’re playing with humans, who just don’t have the endurance that we dogs do. Here’s an example where I show you how to get your human to pause and rest when he or she might be getting a little tired.Continue reading “Lulu’s Life Tips: Know When To Run And When To Rest”
Hello friendlies! Lulu here! You may remember a recent life tip of mine to run in the space you have, and while that was and remains good advice, I would also like to remind you that sometimes it’s good top stop running so you can get a nice little chin skritch or two.Continue reading “Lulu’s Life Tips: It’s Fun to Run, but Stop for Pop”
Hello friendlies! Lulu here! The cats were telling me about how their brother Angel Dennis used to post
skolarly treetises scholarly treatises about various topics, so I thought I would try my hand paw at doing one. And because I’m a modern girl, I decided to do my first scholarly treatise in the form of a video. Sort of like those video courses that you can get from dog training sites and colleges. Only nicer because I’m in this one.
So. Have you all heard of these things called “stuffies”?
