Hello friendlies! Lulu here, with another lawn patrol post! As promised, or at least implied, this one features Java Bean in his first full day here in the backyard. He had actually arrived the previous afternoon, but of course he needed time to get settled into a new place after weeks in the shelter. He was feeling a lot more comfortable the next day, and really wanted to get into a game of chase. Unfortunately, as you will see, it was right in the middle of nap time.

While Mama and Dada were mostly concerned with the damage the wind was doing—for instance, it destroyed Mama’s plumeria shelter that Dada made, which, to be honest, was not exactly the sturdiest thing in the world—I was mostly interested in all the fascinating smells is brought in from far away. Have a look, not to mention a listen!
Hello friendlies! Lulu here! I never really went anywhere in my past life on a ranch except when I would jump over the fence and run around the fields so I still don’t always know what to expect when I get in the car. Am I going to the V-E-T? Am I going back to the shelter? Am I going to Disneyland? But on Memorial Day I went somewhere new. Can you guess where I went on Memorial Day? Can you guess? You’ll never guess! Oh, wait, I already gave it away in the title.
